WhatsApp continues to be one of the most used apps by users. It is likely to get monotonous and boring with the same old fonts and same old backgrounds. Users can change the appearance of WhatsApp by tweaking the font style and the app background that will help users make the app more interesting. Users can also italicise the text, make it bold and apply strike through to add emphasis to their texts.

If you are an Android user then you can tap and hold the text you’re typing then click on more options (click on three dots) and choose among bold, italic, strike through and monospace. Alternatively, to italicize your message you need to place an underscore on both sides of the text, like _text_ and to make it bold add an asterisk on both sides of the text like this*text*. To strike through your message you need to place a tilde on both sides of the text, like this ~text~
